Aquamarine literally means “water of the sea” and it ranges in color from light blue to green.  It is a great stone for meditation enabling us to reach a higher consciousness.  Aquamarine can clear up confusion, refine perception and sharpen the intellect.  When placed on the throat, Aquamarine can provide an inexpensive relief for a sore throat.  Costs alot less than throat sprays.

Interesting Tidbits:  Aquamarine, Bixbite and Emerald are forms of Beryl.   Aquamarine is blue Beryl. Bixbite is red Beryl. Emerald is green Beryl.  Aquamarine gets its coloring from trace amounts of iron.
