Bloodstone is green jasper with red jasper spots. Many years ago, people believed that the red spots represented the blood of Jesus. Bloodstone is also known as heliotrope. The ancient Greeks named it heliotrope (“sun turner”) because they observed that it flashed scarlet when they lowered it into water and pointed it toward the sun.
Bloodstone is a powerful healing and purifying stone. As the name suggests, bloodstone is a great blood cleanser and it is good for all types of blood ailments. It calms the mind, helps with decision making, reduces irritability and confusion, aggressiveness and impatience. It increases vitality, creativity, spirituality and intuition. Bloodstone discourages undesirable influences, expels evil and negativity.
They are too powerful to be kept only at home. Keep them in your pocket or bra.
