Cinnabar
Hardness: 2 – 2.5
Cinnabar is a brick to brownish red (often with gray) mercury sulfide. The impurities give it a brownish color. Cinnabar can be extremely toxic in raw form, however our tumbled cinnabar does have positive healing properties. Like all red stones, it promotes vitality and power and is good for blood issues including the formation of white blood cells, detoxification and resistance to germs. Like Citrine, Cinnabar can be a merchant “money magnet” providing for the accumulation and maintenance of wealth. Please use Cinnabar only for “the highest and best” pursuits.
Interesting Tidbits: Cinnabar is an Eastern Indian word for Dragon’s blood.
