Fire Quartz
Fire Quartz, also known as hematoid quartz occurs when quartz (silicon dioxide) grows with hematite, goethite and / or limonite.
In its natural state, fire quartz appears opaque. Once it has been tumbled and polished, the inclusions become more vibrant giving the crystal a more translucent look.
