Horn Coral

Horn Coral belongs to a group of corals known as Rugosa. These Rugosa (rugose means wrinkled) are the skeleton of corals and other sea dwelling animals that existed millions of years ago. The skeleton was made up of calcite (a carbonate mineral) which often became fossilized. The name Horn Coral is derived from their chambers resembling a horn shape.
Horn Coral provides us with a knowledge about ancient civilizations and animal kingdoms. They also help us to identify our “totem” animal. We all have one, you know.
These horn shaped minerals can bring us information regarding our safety and security.
Horn coral is more than a not so pretty face. Physically, they can improve bone degeneration, benefit hearing dis-orders, muscular issues and carpal tunnel syndrome.
