Interesting tidbits: The Japanese believed that Tiger Eye guaranteed a long life because supposedly the tiger lived for 1000 years. The Indians believed that Tiger Eye brought about wealth and prevented the loss of money. That might explain why tiger eye was frequently made into good luck charms and amulets.
