Tiger Iron has an interesting story. Found almost exclusively in Western Australia and South Africa, tiger iron is made up of 3 popular stones, one of which is fairly obvious: tiger eye. It also contains metallic hematite (an iron rich metal.. hence the name “iron” being part of its name) and red jasper. Both tiger eye and jasper are members of the quartz family and hematite is an iron oxide. The various designs and swirls of black, gray, silver, yellow, gold, red and orange make it appealing “eye candy” to quote our best customer.
Having all 3 of these incredibly powerful healing stones makes tiger iron a stone never to be without. Imagine the benefits of grounding, centering, clarity, intuition, discretion, optimism, physical strength, vitality, endurance and stamina all wrapped up in one stone.
Keep tiger iron next to the body when you first feel a “bug” coming on. It can do a good job warding off those types of illnesses. Women, keep it in your bra. Men, we recommend holding it in your hand or placing inside your socks. Then again, maybe a skull should be stroked in your hand and not placed anywhere else.
The abundance of Red Jasper is what makes Red Tiger Iron “red.” Check out Tiger Iron on “Our Blog” and read about this “must have” stone.
