Today, Turquoise is abundant in the Southwestern US and there is no denying the popularity of this stone that is associated with the Native American Indians. Interesting Tidbits: If you hear anyone referring to a hydrated copper, aluminum sulfate crystal, you will know that they are talking about Turquoise, the stone also known by it’s chemical composition. The mottled inclusions on the Turquoise are usually Pyrite. Wear a pendant of Turquoise to ease communication.
Interesting Tidbits: Blue howlite is sometimes sold as Turquoise. Make sure you feel the indentations that Turquoise has and Blue Howlite doesn’t have.
